“The mission of the Warren Consolidated Schools, in partnership with families and community, is to achieve a level of excellence in teaching and learning which enables all students to become knowledgeable, productive, ethical and successful citizens.”

From our mission statement to the favorable comments of our graduates, Warren Consolidated Schools "walks-the-talk" of student success. Whether our students are gifted and talented or need some special attention, Warren Consolidated Schools provides instruction to meet their individual academic and emotional needs.

Hundreds of families choose Warren Consolidated Schools for their school-age children every year. Parents find our schools provide a friendly and safe atmosphere while offering a broad range of classes and opportunities for their children's personal success. It's their first choice, it's their best choice.

In a district where children succeed, the evidence is displayed daily in the manner in which we respect our facilities, offer an aligned curriculum which is flexible and evolving, and support high standards of achievement through assessment.

Our recently renovated schools provide the technology, environment and highly qualified staff necessary to meet the high standards set in our mission statement. Student attendance and graduation rates continue to show that our community regards education as an important part of family commitment and citizenship.

Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), a process initiated in 2004, serves as a facilitator and catalyst for targeted school improvement goals. The proof is in the products; our accountability data, school programs, and individual school Points of Pride demonstrate the quality of our school.

Curriculum

At the elementary level, our variety of curricular programs promotes student success in school by assisting them to learn necessary skills and attitudes. Programs emphasize decision making, skill development and awareness, while students explore educational possibilities. Many programs also stress self concept development and the acquisition of skills in developing interpersonal relationships.

In our middle schools, curricular programs focus on the rapidly changing needs of emerging adolescents. Our programs are especially sensitive to the struggles of our middle school students for identity and for balancing the demands for academic, career and social competence. Many components begin in elementary school and continue to fit the special needs of students in middle school. The Warren Consolidated curriculum areas build on each other as students progress through our grade levels.

In our high schools, students are becoming responsible adults who can develop realistic and fulfilling life plans based on clear understandings of themselves and their needs, interest, abilities and skills. High school curriculum meets the simultaneous needs of meeting graduation requirements, preparing for college and assisting our high school students to develop competence in decision making career planning, working with others. and taking responsibility for their own behavior.
